- This is a haunting song from the American folk music tradition. A steady drone in the bass, with gentle ( yet occasional surprising ) harmony in the upper parts builds to a nice, but not over-powering, climax, before settling down and fading into the distance.

Silent Music

- A medley of two of the most beautiful pieces of music from the days of so-called 'silent' films. The first song is the ballad 'MY BUDDY' from the first movie to win an Academy Award, "WINGS", and the other piece is 'SMILE', composed by non other than Charlie Chaplin. This medley was originally performed with the singers wearing white gloves and doing silent movie style pantomime, but it certainly stands on its own as a lovely choral showpiece. Lush harmonies, surprising key changes and an ending that will bring a tear to your eye.
- PIano part is notated out for the most part, although some parts are done in a 'jazz ' style requiring the pianist to 'fill'.

- The great a cappella group THE NYLONS wrote and performed this song. It is a calypso style beat with words that remind us to look around and appreciate the world around us. The solo can be either a low alto or high tenor ( as in the original recording) and works for either SATB or TTBB ( with some adjustment).

This Love ( Maroon 5 )

- This a fun pop tune from 2005/6 by Maroon 5 that has an infectious hook and a beat that is hard to resist! Requires a topnotch solo vioce, the choral parts are very repetitive, but the level is rated high because of the high quality required for the soloist. Also would benifit from a vocal 'beat-boxer' that is not notated.
