Little Jazz Bird

Jazz Bird is one of the lesser known songs of George and Ira Gershwin, but it is a delightful tune ! In this version of the song, I added a flute playing the part of the 'jazz bird' who riffs around while the chorus sings. In the middle section, the flute gets an extended solo with the chorus playing the part of a string bass, and then it all ends together, with a final quote from 'An American in Paris'. Always gets a good response from the audience and allows an accomplished flute soloist to really shine! Originally for TTBB, also available in SATB and for SSAA.
