• This song has become a staple for a cappella groups and every one has their own version of the tune. For my version, I added a little added rhythmic 'pop' with some syncopation. This is truly an easy piece to learn and is great for any soloist!

If I Fell

• This Beatles classic has great words and a haunting melody , not to mention the really interesting harmonies of the opening verse. This version slows the song down, adds some romantic voicings and some lush 'cascades' in the upper parts. It is really voiced for divided female voices with all the men in unison and works esp. well for choirs that have many women with few male voices.

In The Mood ( Bette Midler version)

• Glen Miller began with the instrumental version, the Andrews sisters then added words, but it took Bette Midler to re-record the song and put her own personal stamp on the tune to really make this song vocally shine! An unusual patter section and tough, tight harmonies make this a challenge, but so fun to sing!!

Isn't It Romantic

• Rodgers and Hart wrote this American songbook classic back in the 1930's, and it is still one of lushest tunes around. This version is one time through the song with a small tag and a rich climax. Arranged for 3 parts in a mulitude of voicings, it is quick to put together and a good filler piece for a choral concert ( especially for Valentines Day!)

• A beautiful and romantic  jazz choir arrangement of this 1940's tune. This arrangement won special recognition at the Berklee Jazz Festival in 1999. It is challenging, but worth the effort. The piece changes keys dramatically half-way through the chorus for a true tear-jerker of an ending.
